Earning my Bachelor of Arts in Music from the University of North Texas, I was privileged to study privately with Panayiotis Kokoras, Kirsten Soriano, and, after graduation, with film/concert composer Alain Mayrand as well as Saad Haddad. I teach music theory and production and plan on writing sacred concert music and earning my DMA or Ph.D in composition to secure work as a professor of composition. My background is quite eclectic and the compositions I desire to create vary greatly from one to the next. However, all my music attempts to celebrate God and therefore can be considered sacred. As Igor Stravinsky famously stated, “I heard and I wrote what I heard. I am the vessel through which Le Sacre passed.” All the sounds I notate originate from God's divine providence.
